- Product Scope & Ownership: Hold full lifecycle responsibility for the scoping, development, and delivery of member experiences and the underlying platform infrastructure across four major product lines: International Lyra Workforce Mental Health (WFMH), Global Lyra Wellbeing, 10 Local Lyra Wellbeing products, and other product surface areas as needed.
- Platform-First Scale: Lead the evolution of our international offerings onto a unified global platform, with automated workflows that make each new client launch faster and more repeatable than the last. Champion the localization of core capabilities, including billing, eligibility, and provider management, so they flex gracefully across markets.
- Roadmap Stewardship: Balance the needs of today’s clients with durable, long-term platform investments. Make clear, well-reasoned tradeoffs, explain the “why” behind them in a way that brings people along, and have the conviction to say “not yet” when that’s what best serves members and the business.
- Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead the International Product team. Hire and grow exceptional people, including leaders whose strengths go beyond your own, and invest in their development through candid, caring feedback and meaningful ownership. Your success is measured by how well your team thrives: clearing the path, providing context, and creating the conditions for others to do their best work.
- Business Ownership & Resourcing: Create and manage the annual budget for International Product. Assess resourcing needs and build compelling business cases to secure the investment needed to reach ambitious growth targets.
- Cost-to-Serve & Performance Insight: Partner with the Data organization to build a single, trusted view of international performance, giving leadership clear visibility into margins, ROI, and utilization. Define and track the product metrics that measure success, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate so global products are built for long-term profitability.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as the central connector across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Clinical Governance, Legal, and Compliance. Build trusted relationships across regions and time zones, including in our local operations work toward win-win outcomes amid competing priorities, and ensure clinical quality and local regulatory requirements are built into the product lifecycle from the start.
- Go-To-Market Partnership: Act as a trusted partner to Go-To-Market and Client Services teams. Serve as the product voice in high-stakes, C-level client conversations and complex RFPs, bringing the technical and clinical confidence that helps Lyra win and retain large-scale global contracts.
- AI-Enabled Product Excellence: Maintain a high bar for product craft and apply AI with purpose, both in our products, where it can meaningfully expand access and improve care, and in how we work. Model how AI can accelerate research, synthesis, planning, and execution, and help your team adopt tools and practices that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and happiness.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: Several years in product management, strategy, or technical operations.
- Leadership: Several years of people leadership, with a track record of building strong teams and coaching talent to grow beyond their current roles.
- Global Product Expertise: Experience launching and scaling products across multiple countries, including localizing for language, culture, and care norms, and navigating regional privacy and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, data residency). A natural instinct to design for local context, informed by real cultural fluency.
- Platform & Enterprise Architecture: Deep understanding of bringing multiple systems together onto a unified global platform and reducing the effort required for each new client launch.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Advanced skills in multivariable planning, budget ownership, and resource forecasting in a complex, matrixed environment. You think like a business owner and use data on product health, margin, ROI, and utilization to guide strategy.
- Executive Influence & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can distill complexity into a crisp narrative, write a document that drives a decision, and adapt your message for engineers, clinicians, and C-level executives alike. A demonstrated track record of influencing senior leaders and key external stakeholders through credibility and trust, along with strong negotiation skills.
- High Performance under Complexity: Ability to analyze changing, multivariable situations and set objectives with high impact on company goals. You make sound calls with incomplete information, move comfortably between the details and the big picture, keep momentum when plans shift, and stay composed and solutions-oriented when headwinds arise.
- Practical AI Fluency: Hands-on experience using AI to meaningfully accelerate your own work and your team’s, with the discernment to know where it adds real value.
- Culture & Psychological Safety: A model of Lyra’s values who fosters psychological safety across the team, welcomes nuanced feedback, and makes it safe for team members to voice differing opinions. You hold strong opinions loosely, change your mind when the evidence warrants, and share credit freely.
- Mission & People Focus: A passion for Lyra’s mission. Your curiosity and empathy come naturally: they show up in the questions you ask, the time you spend with members, providers, and clients, and the products you build as a result.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) required; MBA or equivalent professional experience preferred.
